General Information

The Appointment Booking provides an efficient and user friendly way for staff members to manually book appointments. This could for example be at a call centre or at a reception.
If deployed, the Appointment Booking application is found on the Home page of Orchestra.

Limitation

Appointment Booking is only supported by Orchestra 7, and later.
Depending on configuration settings, your system may look different than in the images in the descriptions below.

Landing Page

When the Appointment Booking application is launched, you will see the Landing page:
In the top banner, you have the possibility to do the following:
Open the Orchestra Home page, by clicking on the Home icon, , in the upper left corner.
If you have the right permissions (Administrator Role), you will see the Settings icon, . Click it to open up the Settings page. For more information, see “Settings” .
Launch the Online Help (if installed), by clicking the Help icon, , in the upper right corner.
Logout, by clicking the Logout icon, , in the upper right corner.
See the name of the user that is currently logged in, in the upper right corner.
On the Landing page, you can:
Search for or create a Customer - see “Finding a Customer” .
Once a Customer has been found, see other booked Appointments for that Customer. These Appointments can be edited, if they are future Appointments. See “Handling Appointments” .
Create an Appointment - see “Creating an Appointment” .
See Recently booked Appointments, see “Viewing Recently Booked Appointments” .
